In November 2025, Liu Xiaoning was formally invited by the Communication University of China to attend the 11th China International Exhibition of Oral History.
As one of China’s most prestigious institutions in media and the arts, the Communication University of China (CUC) is a national center for oral history, documentary studies, and public culture research.
The annual exhibition brings together leading historians, scholars, media figures, and cultural observers from across the country.
This year’s main stage program, “The Night of Oral History,” was hosted by renowned media figure Cui Yongyuan, who serves as the Honorary Chair of the exhibition.
Liu Xiaoning participated in the featured unit “Stories of Old Tibet,” contributing his long-term field experience and artistic insights to the panel’s discussions.
